a walk to remember..

i cant really recall if i already have such a title up before but i figure what the heck ! if bears can come again, so can blog titles right ?

anyways, the restless mood is starting to settle in and i really need to get my arse down to running and biking.. though (way) easier said than done !

last wednesday, for no apparent reason at all, i decided to take a stroll to robs place for my usual wed get-up. So, armed with NEWater (still gives me the gibbers!), brilliant ipod loads and a certain backpack. I started the 8km walk... (i kid u not!)

the whole stroll was amazingly refreshing and got me light headed, although i suspect the same would not be the case had i been running my lungs out. I think its partially due to the fact that someone up there has stopped the drizzle, so the air was nice and crisp. Legs felt quite energetic till the last part, which i attribute (no thanks) to my worn birks. Anyhows, a few undulating and picturesque landscape of about 5 miles later, (and a few beads of perspiration), robs showed up in his running gear, half berating me for being so slow (ouch!). sighs... so much for love, ya .. ooh well, i reckon i shld quickly get the bike i'm currently drooling over and hopefully clock in some mileage on it !!

never thought i would actually feel so jaded from inactivity, but recently MIAMI INK, CSI and HBO have been promoted to being my constant companions and bestfriends.. yikes .. i hope i land that dream job soon ! too much play, no work makes tiff an 'iffy irritant !

the weather's gone mad these days ..
but i'm not complaining the least coz i love these cold sleep-in sorta weather..
harha, i sense the pigginess in me surfacing with each passing day !
anyhows, its finally over- last day at work (or rather last physical day at work)
it was a really bitter-sweet feeling, contrary to how all my friends feel
already i'm missing people at work (irony isnt it)
thankfully, no mushy goodbyes, just simple sweet 'thank-yous' and a really
nice key chain from GUCCI (in anticipation for my car! ha!)



rob figures that i've been changing jobs much too often,
but then again, the finance line is like this, no ?

ooh well, i came across this nice fund-raising page from a blog i've recently love to read ..
i've been trying to coerce some people to join me, but unfortunately
no one's taking up my offer, sympathetic to the cause, yes - participate, NO !

Just got back from catching CASHBACK .. and it was BRILLIANT !
i like Brits for some reason, and this short-film-turn-movie is one of them..
this film centres around 'time' which is relative to each individual..
a single person's 'minute' could feel like hours to another and vice versa ..
anyways, i realised from this film.. there is a '2-seconds' rule to each circumstance and
situation...and if someone sees the bad '1-second' part, it doesnt matter what the other
good '1-second' will be.. the second has passed and no words can rightly seek
to explain that in words...

watch this.. its great ..
i always wondered who the actor who played 'Oliver Wood' is in Harry Potter..

after being away for slightly more than half a year,
rob's back ! and with a bang i must say (think hair bangs)
and we finally got to spend some nice quiet atas time tgt ..
amazing enough, he was dressed in something nice..
if you know robin, u'll knoe his usual devil-may-care garb..
so it was nice actually, and so, that is the reason for the triggerhappiness..
it was kinda cute to see him excited over getting valet..
he's probably gonna kill me for saying this but ,
when he first saw his new car .. he turned to me and sed :
' babe, we can finally go to Oosh and act like those atas kias with valet !'
haah, my babe, the silly boy ..
anyways, some nice but fat(me!) shots coming right up ..


not satisfied with just grass n lubes,
we prowled the streets of thomson in search of food....
and ended up at TONGSHUI CAFE for a fix ...

i'm literally blown away by this brilliant person.. Paul Potts ..
this is a reality series ( which i detest , by the way) called 'Britain's got Talent'..
and this little act by this man.. delivered the true essence of humility for me ..
a true case of quintessential man with the most beautiful and hidden talent ..

lo and behold..

it just struck me that i'm kinda weird in many ways.. it started with me sitting by the bedside and thinking of random thots when .. i think i must be the only one who ...

1. drinks earl grey tea with soy milk ..
2. sit by esplanade bridge with no reason watsoever..
3. calling up a friend to tell him the moon is nice..
4. convincing my bf that he is gay ...
5. confessing that i only go for confessions when i need smth ..
6. eats 4 mini-fuji apples a day followed by a litre of water ..
7. think that having the runs will make me lose weight...
8. brilliant hand-leg coordination (sure, if elephants can dance !)
9. always coming up with 'what-if' scenarios to irk all my friends..
10. have both my bestfriend leaving me for ENGLAND & HK (in that order)
11. spends most of my waking hours imagining if i were Warren Buffet's daughter ..
12. indulging in favorite magazines like SHAPE, BLOOMBERG & HOME DECOR (domesticity surfacing)
13. insisting on making a list so that i end on no. 13 ..

gosh.. i think i ought to get a life real soon !! ooh well, i think this blog has sort of fall into disuse but .. an occasional post still proves that i'm alive (even if barely) ..
i think it must be all the negative vibes from work .. experiencing an exodus isnt the best of feelings .. and after the team was 'bloodied & cleaved' .. i suppose it shld start going uphill from now on.. one should at least hope, right?!?!

again, futile attempt at cheering myself up .. hah *feeble smile*
